Find out everything you need to know about the SG Arrival Card here.

What Is the SG Arrival Card (SGAC)?

The SG Arrival Card is an electronic entry document required by Singapore’s Immigration and Checkpoint Authority (ICA) for all incoming travelers. It serves as a replacement for the traditional paper disembarkation/embarkation card which was previously used.

The ICA’s entry card is part of the country’s efforts to streamline immigration processes and enhance border security, making entry faster and more efficient for travelers.

Prior to entering Singapore, you must access the SG Arrival Card e-service to obtain the SGAC. My SG Arrival Card has been designed to make this process as easy as possible.

Is the Singapore Arrival Card a health declaration?

Yes, the arrival card is partly a health declaration. It serves to register your entry into Singapore while also taking some key health details.

The aim of the SGAC health declaration is to help monitor the spread of infectious diseases, to protect both travelers and the public.

Singapore entry card vs. Singapore visa

It’s important to understand that the Arrival Card for Singapore is not a visa. The SGAC is a mandatory document for all passengers, regardless of their passport, while visa requirements are determined by the traveler’s nationality.

To summarize: You may need a Singapore visa, in addition to an arrival card, to successfully enter the country. Please check the visa requirements for your nationality before traveling.
